ShanghaiTech University is a newly established research university located at Zhang-Jiang High-Tech Park in Pudong, Shanghai, the “Pharma Valley” of China. The University is jointly supported by Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shanghai Municipal Government. ShanghaiTech aspires to be a globally recognized top research university by creating a dynamic hub where innovative research, education, and community service are integrated to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to learning and to solving problems faced by the society. We now have 1433 undergraduates, 1788 Master/PhD Students and 489 Faculty Members. The University has built state of the art research and teaching facilities. In addition, our faculty will have access to research facilities and resources in the Chinese Academy of Sciences, including National Center for Protein Science Shanghai, Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility, etc.
School of Life Science and Technology (SLST), Shanghai Institute for Advanced Immunochemical Studies (SIAIS), iHuman Institute (iHuman) and National Center for Protein Science Shanghai (NCPSS) will join efforts to organize the Shanghai University Leagues Forum for International Young Scholars — BioForum @ ShanghaiTech on May 30-June 01, 2020. Due to the special situation of COVID-19 outbreak, this forum will be held in an online format. The forum will focus on the following areas, Immunology, Neurobiology, Anti-infectious drug target and drug discovery, Regenerative medicine and gene/cell therapy, Structural biology and drug design, Integrative Biology.
We sincerely invite young talents in above six areas from all over the world to join the forum and leverage the opportunities for collaboration.

Qualifications
Successful applicants should have an exceptional track record of research, the capability of conducting innovative and original research, as well as the potential to establish themselves as the leaders in the areas described above.
