Introduction (under development)

High-throughput screening (HTS) is a method for scientific experimentation especially used in drug discovery and relevant to the fields of biology and chemistry. Using robotics, data processing and control software, liquid handling devices, and sensitive detectors, High-throughput screening allows a researcher to rapidly identify active compounds, antibodies, or genes that modulate a particular biomolecular pathway.

The Discovery Technology Platform is aiming to provide more ways of screening technologies for both large molecular protein and small molecule compounds. With consideration of both protein and small molecular compound screening, the platform provides the following capabilities and supports: 1) Construction and screening of combinatorial phage display antibody library; 2) Screening and colony selection of mammalian stable cell lines; 3) Large/Small molecular compound screening and 4) Plate based high-content screening.
