Cancer Stem Cell Lab
Research interest
Glioblastoma is one of the most lethal human cancers, there is currently no effective therapy. In the past years, the Liu lab has contributed significantly to the understanding of the cell-of-origin, tumor heterogeneity and cancer stem cells of glioblastoma. Current research in the Liu lab focus on identification and validation of targets in glioblastoma. To do that, we utilize genetically modified mouse models, human patient derived tumor organoid, single cell RNA-seq, CRSPR/Cas9 high-throughput screen as well as high-throughput chemical screen.
